Literally meaning ‘Yogi Sleep’, Yoga Nidra is a style of guided meditation that moves awareness around the body, resulting in deep relaxation. If savasana (corpse pose) is your favorite, this class is for you! The practice of yoga nidra starts with gentle stretching, ending in savasana.
The savasana is extended for about 30 minutes. So you basically stretch a little, lay down, shut your eyes and listen! It is one of the easiest forms of meditation to practice. Each meditation is original and written by me. We usually go to Rockport Beach and watch the full moon rise at the end of meditation. This class can also be done privately at your own space, or different location in case of inclement weather or a busy beach.
Class is donation based, suggested $5-$10, $60 for a private lesson of up to 4 people, $10/each for additional.
