Yoga

My class usually consists of pranayama, a slow flow to build heat, deep stretching, ending with meditation during savasana.  I like to tailor class to fit the students.  Class is appropriate for all skill levels.  Yoga class lasts about 75 minutes; 60 minutes of activity and 10 minutes of savasana

My classes at Rockport Beach are donation based, suggested donation of $5-$10, with students bringing their own mat/equipment. We generally meet in the Beachfront Pavilions-  the first set as you drive down the beach park road.  If the pavilion is rented, we may move to the Saltwater Pool Pavilions further down, so be sure to make contact with me if you plan to attend! It costs $10 to drive onto Rockport Beach.  They also offer year round passes for $40, or $20 if you are a resident of Rockport and visit the Navigation Office behind the Bay Education Center. You can walk or ride a bike onto the beach for free. Free beach parking is Right of the beach park entrance or in front of the Crab Statue/Little Bay.  It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the free beach parking to the pavilion along the shoreline. Beach Yoga will move to an indoor location for inclement weather. Alternate location will be posted on the Calendar. I also teach at numerous other places, please visit my Calendar for more information.

Private classes and lessons are available, please Contact Me to set up your date, time and location!  Private Rate is $80 for up to 4 people, and $10 per each additional person.

I offer online classes as well. I can set up a custom video just for you, tailored to your own goals and abilities.  Lots of free videos are available on Facebook at Facebook.com/MermaidMagen under ‘Videos’ and the private group ‘Mermaid Magen Live’.
